Did you receive an error when activating Tailscan that said “Maximum number of devices reached”? This means you’ve registered three different devices/browsers with one license key.
If you’d like to reset your used devices, follow these steps:
- Navigate to https://tailscan.com/account
- Log in with your email address (that you’ve used to purchase Tailscan) and your license key.
Don’t remember your license key?
If you don’t have your license key, search your email inbox for an email with the subject ‘Your Tailscan license key’. If you do not have this email anymore, send an email to support@tailscan.com and we will help you further.
- Under the section ‘License keys' you will find your license key(s) and how many devices are registered per license key. Click on ‘reset devices’ to remove all devices from the license key.
When you reset your devices for a particular license key, all devices or browsers that you have Tailscan installed and activated for, will ask for your email and the license key again.
